1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) let a site store information in your browser. On this page we use the word “cookies” to refer to all of these technologies.
2. Cookies we use
The safekept.app website uses strictly necessary cookies only, stored on your device via localStorage (first-party). We do not use profiling cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools.

3. Cookie categories
- •Strictly necessary: essential for the site to work (remembering your cookie choice and your language). They are always on and do not require consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the ePrivacy Directive.
- •Analytics / performance: would help us understand how the site is used. We use none today. The category exists in the preferences panel and is off by default: no analytics cookie will be set without your prior consent.
- •Marketing: would be used for advertising or profiling. We use no marketing cookies and have no plans to.
4. Third-party cookies
The site sets no third-party cookies. The typeface (Inter) is served directly from our own servers (self-hosted via Next.js) and triggers no requests to external services such as Google Fonts. There are no embedded maps, videos, social buttons, or third-party analytics tools.
5. How to manage or withdraw consent
On your first visit you are shown a banner with equally prominent choices: Accept all, Reject all, and Customize (to set individual categories). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
- •via the link in the footer of every page;
- •by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
